I’ve been programming in several languages since 2006. I believe in a growth mindset and that most people just need some compassionate guidance.

My programming journey began in Basic, then Java (OOP), then C++11 (smart pointers, vex robots, wxWidgets, OpenGL), then bash+perl+R+python (fast-drafting bioinformatics pipelines), and then most recently slurm+nextflow (re-entrance, parallelizing workflows for the HPC) with short visits in other languages as needed.
