From the Nextstrain home page it is pretty easy to find these discussions using the search box and searching for “discussion”, but it is not listed under any of the menu items for things like “Sharing Analyses” or “Contributing”. I suspect a lot of bioinformatics people and programmers will find their way to Github for Augur and Auspice etc. But I think there will be many biologists like myself who wold participate more here, if it was easier to find.
